The scientific journal Russian Social and Humanitarian Studies (previous title – Modern Studies of Social Issues = Sovremennye Issledovaniya Sotsialnykh Problem (until September 2025)) is an interdisciplinary platform for publishing research results in the field of social and humanitarian knowledge. The publication focuses on the integration of historical, cultural, philosophical, and linguistic research, contributing to the formation of a holistic view of the development of human society.

The journal has been published since 2009. It is indexed in Russian Index of Science Citation (RISC), DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), OpenAlex, Cyberleninka, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, etc.  Articles are assigned DOIs through Crossref.
